Terry,
Linn's puts out a great Multi-gauge, that I use. I believe it runs about $6.95, but worth it for all of those pesky perfs.
Mike
I tried to upload a scan of my Multi-gauge, but the system doesn't seem to want to cooperate tonight, so I will attempt to send you an email with that.
Terry, I second Mike's suggestion: Linn's multigage is precise and easy to use.
Thanks Mike and amsd! I have an old Linn's guage that I probably purchased 30 years ago. I did not realize that they have updated it for die cut stamps. I will order one immediately.
Thanks again,
Terry
Terry,
The Scott multi-gauge is excellent as well....I have both, and use them quite regularly.

Mike,
Were you able to upload an image? I'd love to see it as well!

Is anyone else having problems trying to determine if a stamp is die cut 9.8 or 9.9 for example. Most of the current US definitives are printed by multiple printers with a wide array of seprpentine die cut measurments that can drive a hopefully sane man to spend hours muttering to himself while trying to determine if a stamp is die cut 11.2 or 11.3.
I have tried using a regular perf gauge but it is not all that precise. Any suggestions?
