Also, thought sure I had an old Scott catalog that listed Oleomargarine tax stamps.
can't find'em, now.

Can you tell me what the word under imported is? I tried to magnify it but it was not clear.

"Series Of", with the year at the bottom of the oval.

Carl,here is a link that will give you some information on the cigar revenues:

The next link will have an image of your stamp, and alot more. You have to click on the various text links to see the images. Scroll down about midway on the page (the other items are good reading too about the same subject). A paragraph will start with "Imported cigars". Click on the last link towards the end of the paragraph, and your stamp will be in the image.
