I believe so. Though I would have to check with my cousin on the exact wording, there was a letter inside from the friend that mentioned saving the cover because of who carried it. I don't know if the plane could have had more than one pilot aboard, so that could be a question, I suppose. I'm thinking that since the friend suggested saving the cover, it was because he knew that Lindbergh was the one piloting the plane.

I don't own this one - my cousin does, as it was sent to his grandfather, and someone had the foresight to actually keep it, but I did have a chance to scan the front while visiting him a few years ago (doh! didn't think to scan the back). Mr. Bingaman had worked on the Canal and had recently returned stateside when this was sent by a buddy. Thought you folks might enjoy it.
