I thought I was the only Bon Jovi fan left!!
Bon Jovi? Isn't that the white powder used to clean tubs and sinks?
No, but if he wants to come clean my tub & sinks, I won't complain!
Lisa - LOL - nah, you're not alone!
Kelly
Our older daughter is a Bon Jovi fan. I like a few of his songs, but a fan I ain't. But that's fine--I have my own faves.

Depending on how desperate you are, there is a bogus issue from Gagauzia Moldova (a block of 6) that includes a Bon Jovi stamp:

"(Going down in a) Blaze Of Glory"........he will have a stamp for him soon as USPS decides firmly on honoring living people on stamps. My favourite too!
Jill - thanks for the link but definitely not that desperate
Saleem - Guess I'll be waiting a long time because his Blaze of Glory is going to keep shining for a long time. Haven't there been other countries who have issued stamps of still living celebrities or are those just cinderellas?
Kelly
Jill,
I have seen stamps of some Carribbean countries honoring their still young cricket players and there are some issues of Australia honoring living celebrities in recent years as also some Canada issues.
Kelly, many countries honor living celebrities. Australia, for instance, issues stamps for its gold-medal-winning athletes, generally the day of their success. A friend has a collection of these, both mint and on FDCs. The US has inadvertently honored many living people (Linn's recently featured an article about PMG Law and his reasoning for NOT honoring Lindberg), but seems determined to raise living people to the same pedestals as BullsEye and Bart.
David
I know Canada has issued stamps with living celebrities on them, such as the Olympic gold, etc. That is why I was curious to know if anyone had come across any with Bon Jovi. I know there are Madonna stamps issued from various countries (legal ones, not just cinderellas) and I believe there were Michael Jackson stamps issued while he was still alive by some countries so I was just taking a chance asking about Bon Jovi.
Gee, maybe I oughta just create a cinderella and make a mint off them, eh?
Kelly
Brian Adams was on a stamp of Canada. Waiting for Canada to issue a Rush stamp.
Bob
A Rush stamp... that would be something And to keep the language balance and make it a nice set, let's add a Voivod stamp as well. I would not wait for it, because it will probably not happen for a long time (or perhaps we could make one ourselves with Photoshop)
Jan-Simon
I take it Rush is a rock group? Tell you , USps needs to issue a Ricky Nelson stamp.
Yes, Rush is a rock group... Actually Yes is a rock group... Not sure where this is going.
Bob
Guess Who? Yes? Rush? Oh, wait, Guess Who is a group too! Who? Oh yeah, The Who too. This all sounds Kinks to me......
Ok guys - I've got a question for you. I've seen hundreds of stamps world over of music stars - other than just Elvis Presley.
I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan - has anyone ever come across any stamp with either Jon or the whole band on (just him would suffice for me )
