I was just sorting a bunch of covers, and came across this Colombia cover of 1956, celebrating the oldest (known) man in the world at the time:

Fascinating insight into a slice of the human condition, a page out of a couple of unexamined lives.
My imagination took flight upon reading this - a great theme upon which to write a terrific novel.

Does that say 1789 - 1956 ???

That would make him 167 years old, wow. I'd have to take with a grain of salt...
