Here is an interesting item. A friend of mine asked me about a U45 stationery cut square (Scott value $450 used) that had "cents" spelled as "cetns". I told him I had heard of no such error and to send me a scan.
Here it is (I apologize for the quality -- he send it much smaller and I enlarged it), along with a genuine one:
(don't judge the size -- they are scanned at different resolutions)
Quite a crude fake!
Anybody seen these before -- have any further information?
