Now I can add deltiologist to my list of hobbies. Very interesting web site well worth a look. I may join if I ever have the time to sort through all my post cards. Thanks for sharing Richaard.

Two points:
• Picture postcards make great collateral items to display with stamps. I've now got five exhibits under my belt (I'm a late bloomer), and every one of them includes postcards. One exhibit includes more postcards than stamps. (The Display Class for national-level philatelic exhibitions allows not only postcards, but any collateral items, such as photographs and maps, that help to develop a theme.)
• The APS now allows exhibits of postcards only in philatelic exhibitions.
