Carl---could it be Alexander Graham Bell ?
Regards,Harold
Walt Whitman?
You'll have to tell us what that is all about (in the picture).
I would say that that beard is Santa's and the pyramid is Mrs. Claus's new form for sewing Santa's new toy sack.
Just a wild guess.
i'm going with that anti-creationist, you know, Scopes' buddy, Mr Monkey man, the man who said we're even older than postage stamps. He was from Sydney or one of those Australian cities, the one the Japanese bombed they were so mad at him, and sailed to the Gideeup Islands on the ReaGull SeaGull.
David, wasn't born yesterday
Charles Darwin (in case my references get lost)
if I'm right, I owe it all to Liz: http://www.stamporama.com/auction/auction_main.php?action=40&id=RAOLz8s.8Y0ho
It sure looks like Charles Darwin and his wife Emma. At first I thought of Orville Wright, but don't remember seeing him with a beard (haha).
