Dear Woodtick,
It depends on what you want the software for; making album pages, inventory, identifying stamps, determining value, grading, etc.

I used to love StampKeeper Deluxe for US and Stamp World for the rest of the world by CompuQuote but the owner retired and EzStamp took over their customers. I bought the full EzStamp catalogue of Country databases (pretty expensive) and it took me a while to get used to the interface. I actually enjoy using it now. My main problem with it is that I don't really like the reporting functions. CompuQuotes was so much easier to use and generating custom reports was much better.
I use Stamp Collectors Data Base to keep track of my collection. The interface is windows and it stores images and is licensed to use Scott catalog numbers and values. It has databases for several countries. However it isn't very good at recording multiple purchase prices on stamps with similar conditions. If you have multiple copies then it just multiplies the number of copies by one purchase price. The documentation is also quite sparse so that it is difficult to modify.
Any one else use SCDB?
Does anyone have a recommendation for stamp software? Need both US and World wide. Ive read about "ezstamp software" any comments or anyone using it? Thanks for your help. Woodtick
