I spoke with someone at SG today. According to her their company was getting bills from US authorities to cover supposedly free things they were sending to new subscribers, she thinks this covered my missing issues.
Just a rumor but maybe another reason this stupidity needs to end, let's hope it does.

Moderators,
Please keep this thread open. It was my understanding that we were going to relax the restrictions on open communication as long as it related to stamp materials such as the SG publication.
What does the following have to do with stamp materials?
"Well, it may be "stupid" to you because you didn't get your little stamp magazine but go check with the US steel and aluminum producers; they LOVE the current trade policies."

Ernie,
I honestly don't mind your comments.
Prior to this past Summer I was getting approvals from dealers in GB, Germany and Israel. Thanks to our president, no more. I think you are only looking at one aspect of this issue, that's fair isn't it?
I do not want deletion of this post but that's not my decision
Snick,
I appreciate your civil and thoughtful response.
I'm just saying that in trade policy some levers go up and some go down.
I'm hoping we can take care of and grow our heavy manufacturing.
I'm just wondering how many US jobs are linked to steel and aluminum production vs. Stanley Gibbons publishing.
Those are all of my thoughts on that.
Good to see you posting Snick. We did a Secret Santa last July haha. I think we're a little late to get it going before Christmas.

It is no surprise that deliveries from the UK were disrupted simply because Royal Mail refused to accept items for delivery to the United States.
British companies were popping items into the post boxes because they were not told that Royal Mail were refusing to accept items for the US.
Other countries took days to sort it out. It took Royal Mail weeks.
I had items with Customs forms correctly filled in complete with Harmonized Tariff Schedule Numbers and the local Post Offices would not accept them even after Royal Mail said they would accept them.
If those charged with accepting mail were confused you can imagine how confused businesses and the public were.
For those of us who had exported goods in the past we knew how simple the process should be but Royal Mail thought it was more complicated than it actually was.
All they had to do was copy the United States HTS Numbers and the new Rates, enter it into their computer system and everyone linked in could get on with their business.
EDIT
Under the new system postage stamps and magazines are Tariff free. Except for Cuba, North Korea, Belarus etc

I am leaving this discussion open for the moment, and that's because we are talking about the possible effect of tariffs on SG. Keep it to SG (and tariffs effect on its delivery); Make it broader, the effect of tariffs in general, for instance, and we'll close the thread.
Oddly, the MT is even now discussing very specific rule changes that will help us all find what's allowed and forbidden.

I subscribed to this UK based magazine about a year ago. I got it for about five months, last issue was dated April this year. I have written three times with no replies. Some weeks ago I got a letter describing all their benefits asking for my renewal, this past week these folks were emailed them asking why no replies ever received.
Frankly this is about what I'd expected from them by now. I strongly expect that the changes in customs fees to USA residents is why they seem to be shutting us down.
I am NOT renewing this. I'd just like to hear from others and if anybody ever got a refund.
