Some darker marks UL of Face and Mid LR. But no discernible cancel marks around edges. Has some gum, but back s kinda disturbed.Ran both scans in ImageSleuth with no help. Was in a 105 card in a lot and value of $220 written on it, which is Scott unused CV. Not relying on this...been wrong on such in the past.
Unused, just grubby. I'd take a lightly moistened cotton bud (q-tip) to the front if it was mine
i see lots of black on the front, mostly small pieces of black. unless that might be black mold.... looks used to me
I agree with David. There are quite a few black spots that suggest a weak strike of a cancelling device.
I defer to the majority, however a weak strike is not typical from Antigua. If it's used, soak it and get rid of the gunge on the back. I'm sure it will still sell
Either way, it's a really nice copy!
I'll try the cotton swab and soak, and report back. Thanks folks!
Soaked and light swabbed. Front is cleaner than pre wash, but back pretty much as before. Besides no obvious cancel, the Antigua cancels for this period appear pretty heavy with a large numeral. But, still not certain. Do these pics change any minds? Thanks

My mind's not changed. Unused, and now missing 150+ years of grime
I vote unused, no gum as well. Again, a really nice copy!
