You are not likely going to get a nicely cacheted and flown cover like this for cheap. My guess would be it would go for 3 to 5 times the value of a used baby zep (or more).
I would want to know who the dealer is. There's one guy who royally screwed me (he "forgot" to mail covers I had ordered) and generally charges about 10 time what any other dealers would sell them for. It galls me that he has a 100% rating on eBay, which means that he is artificially raising the cost of our hobby. What really galls me is that I would love to get my hands on many covers he offers, but I can't afford them and, besides, I wouldn't ever give him a dime again.

Thanks for the advice, maybe I should look for a show...
would anyone care to suggest a range of prices that THIS baby zep cover would be considered reasonable, that way Ari could better envision a bargain or a fleecing?
I know nothing about zeps, babies or full grown, or I might offer a range of numbers
I checked ebay this morning, any where from $100 and above.
There's no shortage of "Century of Progress", Chicago to Germany Graf Zeppelin covers with Baby Zeps. There's quite a few.
The cover in question seems more colorful and "fresh" than many listed.
There are quite a few listed at or near the $200 mark but always as a "buy it now". They seem to be optimistic at that number and basically fishing.
I think an honest dealer would price that cover somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 - $100.
Having said that, there could be something very special about this piece that only someone really interested in these would recognize that would make it a $400 item.
Short answer: who knows.

When I first saw this post, I thought "that's a $50 cover", but it took me a couple of days to find the time to gather supporting evidence. (Been dealing with US customs "complications" -- we're shipping, but it's a nightmare at this end.)
I can't agree that it's "fresh". I would describe it as "light overall toning" in my own listings.
Here is a "fresh" one, sold recently on ebay.

This one went from Miami to Chicago. The original poster's cover went from Chicago to Germany, but Sieger gives both of these flight legs a value of 175 Euros with quantities flown of approximately 12,000 and 15,000 respectively.
Hope that helps.

@Roy,
Yeah, after a second, closer look the paper does look kind of toned over all. Ive got to trust your eye for that type of call. You evaluate items like this all day long.
Thanks everyone, I guess I'll try to spend around $50!

I have a complete set of Zeppelins all on cover. When I saw actual flown covers were worth less than mint examples I knew I wanted covers oozing with history!

US (Baby) Zepplin Cover Worth the price?
Should I spend $$ on one of these, and does anyone have on for not too much?
I'm considering one, for a research project, though my budget for one of this is not huge...
Example below!
