



I don't think it's a double over print!
I'm with 1899 I think it is just over-inked. If it had been double print the right hand side upright of the letter L, which is thin, would not be.
If you look at the same overprint on the thread "Italy Overprints" below this thread your upright of the letter L is identical.

If you had gone into the thread "Italy Overprints" (5 threads below this one) you would have come across this from Werner:-
"B.L.P. = Buste Lettere Postal
Such overprinted stamps were issued in 1921/23.
They could be used only on advertisement letter cards,
what were sold discounted to the public for the benefit
of the war-damaged.
Pretty expensive,so forgeries are abundant !"

Italy Scott 100, used with overprint. Appears to be a doubled overprint?
