Roy, thank you very much, absolutely brilliant and greatly appreciated. These were all in German pages in an old set of albums. I had gone through an old Michel catalogue but could not see anything that looked similar. It was also in German so hard to understand!
Top row, left to right: Bill of Exchange Revenue; Bill of Exchange Revenue; German Occupation of Alsace-Lorraine Revenue; Telegraph Stamp
Bruce, thanks for the confirmation and id, much appreciated and I can now annotate the relevant page.
The "Hansa" stamp was issued by a private postal service, Privat-Stadtbrief-Beförderung HANSA, in the city of Breslau (now Wroclaw in Poland) in 1894.
My Michel catalogue says that the arms in the middle of the stamp are those of Breslau.

Thank you Nigel, what a bunch of experts we have as members, the depth of knowledge always amazes me, great answers guys. I'll see if I can find some more puzzling items to give the brain cells something to keep them occupied.

I think the top row are revenues or similar, but not sure.
The bottom row are possibly Germanic states but I think possibly even the first one is a private issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
