Could this be the reason I can never get Link to work?
The best way to embed a YT video
1. Select "Share" below video

2. copy link

3. Paste link in message box
4. Trim all characters up to to "/" (forward slash) including "/"
5. Highlight remaining text and select "Youtube" from format section below message window. It should look like this.

6. Final result
