A feedback option would be nice. Everybody that has purchased from me and that I've bought from has been great. However, it seems that the work required to maintain the sight is quite enough to keep our esteemable hosts busy as is. then, again all of this computer jazz is like quantum mechanics to me.
Twice tried to post my opinion,and twice my computer screwed up,so a short version--
I wouldnt make a feedback section in the auction.It will open up a whole can of worms toward a negative that we at Stamporama do not need.

I agree with Tom. I think we are different to other sites that auction stamps etc. Ebay and stampwants are there to make money. That is their focus. We are quite different. I feel that we are a bunch of friends who enjoy sharing our hobby, and by the way we might sell some stamps to each other on our auction or direct person to person. I think the introduction of a feedback mechanism will only lead to bad feeling over time. We have a method to resolve disputes, we don't need to take them public.

I agree in full with Tim and Tom. I have had good relationships with all Stamporama sellers. My one and only dispute was easily handled. If anyone wants to leave good feedback, the best place to do it is here on the discussion board. Bad feedback needs to go direct to the seller, or in worst case scenarios where the seller does not respond suitably, to the Auctioneer.

I would like to add my "APPROVAL" of all those above who agree a feedback system is NOT what Stamporama is all about. For the most part we are a group of friends dealing with each other on stamp related issues.
Just a couple days ago I contacted a fellow member about a swap of a particular stamp. The communication and cooperation was like two best friends trading a memorabilia ... nothing was mentioned about value, just helping out a friend who needed a specific stamp. This is the way Stamporama works and I surely do not wish to see that change.
If certain members have a conflict with each other that is why we have a moderator in the auction to resolve those disputes.
