If you are familiar with the column in the back of the American Philatelist magazine (APS Society mag) call Worldwide in a Nutshell, you may know Bob Lamb recently retired from doing that column after many years. He is releasing a book of his columns and I saw an announcement in my May 2025 issue. I went to the link listed in the article and it said the offer expired May 31. I called the number listed and asked if I had missed my chance and was told they had extended the offer. I don't know for how long - my sense was days not weeks - but I just received my order confirmation.
If you are interested, see page 12 of the May issue of the American Philatelist and act soon!

If you tossed the May issue, the URL is: aps.buzz/Nutshell/Preorder (just ignore the note about a 5-31-25 deadline) or call Susanna Mills at the APS at (814) 933-3803 ext 207.

My sense was that there are only a few days left to do this.

All preorders are signed by Bob Lamb.

I'm not promoting this book. I was just interested personally and wanted to share what I learned today.

Wow! I just got in under the wire! I'm sorry I didn't read my mag sooner to alert everyone.

It was in the weekly e-newsletters that I had been posting too although I never included it in the highlights.

In that case maybe I'm just late to the party. I hope so. I would hate for someone else to miss out.
