I don't get on SOR that often anymore, but when I do I like to go through the high valued stamps for sale but always have trouble finding them listed and it usually takes me longer to find them than it does to go through the lots. I guess I will have to write it down when I find out where to find them. Any hints gladly appreciated.

you are right, HV is available solely through approvals. I don't believe there is any way to sort by value in auctions.
