United States/BOB & Other : Block of ten R59a

I was on leave and spent my time in Italy. Visited a stamp shop and found this shop worn block of 10, dated 10 Jan. 1863, the price was very cheap so I bought it.

Of course I whished it would have shown the crack, bit it di not.

The vert. and horz. measurement between the stamps is 1 1/2 inch (this might be a good reference)

This was the only U.S.A. stamp in the shop, maybe that's why I got it so cheap along with the bad conditionof it!

I should have said 1 /16 of an inch, not 1 1/2 inch sorry for my mistake!
