@Harvey
Ebay is not a reliable place to determine value of stamps or anything else that has sold!

Check out the CV in Scott's US specialized, they're darned expensive there as well. I'm just slightly disagreeing with the fact that you say they are not rare. There is no way I would reasonably expect to get something like that for less than a few hundred dollars ... unless I was very very lucky. Where would you look to find a "reasonable" value? I've been collecting stamps for more that 50 years and I have no stamps with inverted centers, even though I would very much like to! You are very lucky to have those, I am envious!

I am curious why you say:

"Can you tell me why you think otherwise."
Personal experience!

CV in Scott's is 1 year to 1 1/2 year out of date!

I have a problem getting bargains like some people can. Where I live there are no stamp stores, no local stamp auctions and I don't do clubs well and there are very few in my area anyway. I mostly shop on line, except for my local dealer that I've been with since I started collecting. So, where some of you can find stamps at unheard of low prices, I can't. If anyone can find me really cheap stamps which happen to have inverted centers please get in touch!!
Groucho Marx had a quote about clubs that went something like this, "I refuse to join any club that would consider having me as a member"!
@1899
I see a duplicate of the 2c
Maybe try and sell it on SoR Auction.

P.S. Has anyone seen Roy's auctions? They are REALLY good!
@PhilatelistMag20
"I see a duplicate of the 2c", not a duplicate 2 Cents, one on white paper and one on green paper!

Too bad they're different, I'd love to know what they would sell for here!! There are several people, including me, who are very interested in this type of item! What would we pay? The mind boggles, sort of!
I agree Joe, it would indeed be nice to see what it sold for.
I don't have one, and I would presume someone really interested would pay well for a stamp like that!

Three inverts that are flat press printed.
Common stamps but then in the invert orientation which makes them scarce but not rare!
Let's all see other flat press printed inverts that other soR members has?
Any interesting stories behind your invert stamps?
I had to buy my 3 all at one time from a dealer in England. Because the dealer was not and did not carry U.S.A. stamps normally I got a very good deal!
