Specifying Scott #’s along with the year of issue can be a tremendous help for buyers.
Especially for worldwide collectors the year can be a tremendous help.
I do not recall anyone using Minkus for years.
I appreciate having the Scott numbers, and I prefer chronological (Minkus) order, which would make it easier for buyers who aren't using Scott.

I may have asked this question here many years ago but I am not sure. Since I have been putting up Approval Books here for a long time - I always wondered if buyers prefer the stamps to be shown in Scott # order (with the Back of the Book items following the regular issuses) or in Minkus order where everything is more in a year order with the regular and back of the book items together. Over the years I have created books both ways depending on the collection and where it came from (eg. Scott Album or Minkus Album).
The reason I am thinking about this again - is based on a post I made in the Seller's Corner section of the board. I am going to break up a very large AUSTRIA collection that my father had started way back. I had been keeping it up for awhile but I decided it is time to sell it now. It is an old Minkus alblum but when I create several approval books from this book which order would be preferable ?
Meanwhile - I will entertain Any WANT LISTS for AUSTRIA - before I start to dismantle the collection. Just send me a message or send it to me using me email address which can be found in the member information.
Thanks, Steve
