Congrats Dave!
I love looking through large lots of stamps.
Can you upload a photo of the stamp?
I'd love to see it!

When this stamp was bundled up, at least 50 years ago, the inverted sideways watermark hadn't been discovered. I don't know if there's a census on known copies, but I would guess at less than 50.
This is the stamp in question. When seen from the back, the crown points to the right of the stamp on the normal version.

Thats cool.
I found an Aussie 2c Once with a slightly tilted watermark.
Not sure where it ended up though...

Recently I purchased a huge box of bundleware, maybe 750 bundles of 100 stamps, for $300. They're all Australian, and mainly KGVI era. I know a lot of people sniff at bundleware, but it can reap rewards. I love the hunt.
I found a fine used copy of the 2/6d Aboriginal with "watermark crown to left of CA". The normal used stamp is catalogued at £1, this stamp is catalogued at £2,750.
Bring on the bundleware!!
