The shipment was handed over to the international logistics center in Frankfurt on December 11, 2024 for onward transport to Canada. The postal company of the destination country may provide further information on its own homepage. - Handover Zie
I’m on my cell and it was translated when I opened this thread.

Thanks Vince, greatly appreciated!! Here's the item if anyone is interested!

I've got an interest in fancy cancels even though they sometimes destroy the image on the stamp.

"I see a Chicago blue and a couple New York foreign mail cancels."
Here is a great link for US Stamp information

This is a link to a handbook of Bill Weiss’ book “The Foreign Mail Cancellations of New York City 1870-1878”. These are just illustrations of the cancels. The book was printed in 1990, 504 pages and is available from philatelic literature dealers. There is a more recent two Volume set on these cancels published last year by Nick Kirke.

These are the two NY Foreign Mail Cancels in your ebay link.

Here is the Chicago Blue cancel, on the right, from the same ebay link.

There is a book on “Chicago Blue Postal Markings” by Paul K. Berg published in 1992, also available from philatelic literature dealers. This is a scan from that book with a cancel that is similar to your blue cancel.

Thanks Vince, much appreciated! I'm not sure how far I want to get into this area, I'm afraid of what might happen if I get started!! I sort of opened up a huge pit when I started precancels, GOK where fancy cancels would lead. I've got some major thinking to do!
EDIT: I just did a bit of an e-bay search for US fancy cancels. Before I get into that, if I do, some research is needed! People are paying huge amounts for some of it. I was checking my US album and I already have quite a few nice ones mixed in. I got lucky a few times and maybe I'd better learn a bit more if I want to go further!!
Can anyone help with this please?
