Lars, there are a number of places to go for these. Here's one,
https://golowesstamps.com/reference/Ille ...
THAT'S what I was looking for!
Thank you so much!!!
I was able to find just about everything I needed, but I can't find this one stamp as listed or as illegal:
D R Congo 2006
It's not listed in my 2016 Scott, but it's not unusual for parts of Africa to lag by more than 10 years.
Does anyone have this listed?
Thanks!
Lars
This is one of a set of 2, but it is not listed in Michel or Yvert. Issues from Congo and Zaire are always open to question.
My guess is that it's a bogus/unauthorized issue.

Colnect says it is not listed in Scott, but it is in several other catalogs. See this entry https://colnect.com/en/stamps/stamp/1411 ... It also says that the stamps were not put to use in Congo, but went directly to new issue trade for collectors.

Here is a set of 3 from Germany from 1946 for the city of Aschaffenburg, (Mi. I-III). Because of already existing stamps these were not approved by the postal authorities. The alredy printed sheets were save kept by the city. In 1957 at a stamp show in Aschaffenburg these were then given away to ticket holders.
.....
I think I saw a web portal somewhere that showed issues that the named country disputed.
I would assume it was UPU, but I don’t see it on their site.
Anyone know where to find that?
It’s been many moons for me!
Lars
