re: APS's StampEd, Summer 2024 Edition Available

Looks like a well put together item, but why does everything have to be in columns, I find it irritating to have to scroll up and down to read an article. Also in full screen mode the pages have to be enlarged to make them readable, however going to the next page you have to enlarge again as it does not remember the setting.
I gave up after a few pages, what it would be like on a mobile 'phone I dread to think. If it is to work then it needs to be re-jigged to be more user friendly.
Just my thoughts.

I cannot speak for APS on format and designing it for a phone but I have gotten to use to pinching and zooming. I read a lot of scanned historical documents that are in PDF and this is par for the course so almost natural. I do any deep reading on a tablet in landscape. I am currently reading the 1968 MACV Command History (Vietnam War) that at times is hard to read -- poor original, poor scan, and redacted in sections.
