General Philatelic/Identify This? : Odd Newfoundland Pair

Scott/Unitrade #48, but the different colors puzzle me. #48 is red orange, and #48b is orange. Assuming these are the colors of the two, would they have been issued on the same sheet? I have two pairs of these. Any thoughts?Image Not Found/Users/johnoneil/Pictures/IMG_20240730_0017.jpg

It is the red orange and the top stamp is oxidized.

Unfortunately I agree with Roy. I only have the orange variety and it looks nothing like either of the pair shown!

It's a lovely classic design. Happy

The middle perfs appear to have been folded so maybe they the pair just spent some time folded over and the upper one was affected by the sun or by fumes in the air?

Or it was in a stocksheet where the bottom one was mostly covered by the plastic pocket. Note that there is a hint of oxidation at the top of the bottom stamp as well. (the heavily inked portions are a different color at the top of the bottom stamp compared to the bottom of the stamp.)
