Think the reference is to Jarrett, a publisher of a Canadian album.
Edit, I've turned your images.
Thanks for the edit Vic! I had turned the images over in Paint but must have forgotten to save the changes! Thanks for the information on Barrett, I've been unable to find that anywhere! It must be a very specific album. I wonder if there's a list of the numbers he used anywhere out there. I've put a huge amount of time into my Canadian and US collections. My pages are a bit messy and my Harris albums are duct taped at the edges of the covers. But the albums have been in constant use for over 50 years and mean as much to me as the stamps in them. Most of the numbers were done by my wife and I wouldn't dream of getting rid of them or even switching the stamps to another album. Back in those days you could pick up an album for about $20 and my first set of Scott's, in two volumes, British Empire and the Rest of the World, was probably not much more. My Minkus Russia and Poland albums, I think, were a little bit more! Those were the days. I doubt if many starting collectors now can easily afford albums!!
Here is the large queens page from a Jarrett album, does not seem to have any numbers against the illustrations.
Jarrett did issue a catalogue, at least in 1929 for British North America, here is a link.

I looked again - It is Jarrett, not Barrett. Thanks for that! I looked at the catalog link and decided I didn't need to buy one. That being said, if one of you has one to sell either put it on here or send me a message or email.
The Jarret catalogue is excellent. I used to have one, but since I'm not heavily into collecting Canadian stamps, except for ones related to the First and Second World Wars, I sold it at one of my stamp club's auctions.

I used the link and decided, what the heck, to order the catalog. The price seemed reasonable ($69CD including shipping and GST)!! I'll let you know what I think when it arrives! I'll be really curious how it handles the classic Canada material. It's a 1929 catalog covering the British Commonwealth so the prices will be a little bit out of date but that doesn't matter much to me.
This is my collection of Canada large Queens - Scott #21 - #33. My Harris album has a page for regular issues and one for varieties of which I am missing four, two of which are very pricey. I also have #33 which will show up with the small Queen pages when my photo guy gets back from vacation or when my photo lady gets over her latest bout of Covid. I think this is her 5th time!! This collection has taken many years and lots of searching for the right stamp at the right price. I really can't imagine finishing the second page!! On the bottom of that page a couple small Queens have been thrown in to point out the size difference. On the first page can anyone throw any light on the reference to "Barrett" with the three stamps at the bottom? Is it a reference to someone who published an article on plating these stamps?
EDIT: I like to put prices in for when the collection eventually moves on. It will give an idea of relative values since these catalog values quoted really mean very little.
