I’m breaking down a Bermuda collection this week. The below block is Scott 129 The previous owner put markings in the selvage. The word “HALF” is offset on the lower row. I’ve checked multiple Scott and SG catalogs as well as Michel, but don’t see this listed. Does anyone know of a Bermuda specific catalog that may have it?

re: Bermuda overprint offset

I spent more time looking. SG says these were overprints by a local paper and the spacing between words varies. Looking at a few more blocks, it appears the horizontal placement of words does vary a little bit between blocks; however, the shift is far greater on that lower row of this block and I don’t see other blocks where it varies between rows on the same block.
