I suspect there are few people here who are not aware of this.
Antonio, that's precisely why I asked members to report their bad experiences with this site.
I've had 5 lifetime bans from that clown. He's pretty well known for being a total jerk...as well as his many lackeys.
Not just the moderators, but some collectors love to score points with the main clown.
There's a Terry, a collector, who uses three pseudonyms for his own benefit:
Ubobo.R.O, Maggie and Sergei.
The site is a scam full of crazy and unscrupulous people.
I would suggest to put a fence around it (not literally but still) and leave those who want to be there enjoy themselves, but do not let it cost you any time and energy. I am sure there are better things to do than getting upset about a bunch of w*nkers.
I have never had a bad experience there because of the warnings everyone has posted here over the years. Seems to be a long-standing problem easily avoided by staying safely on Stamporama
"easily avoided by staying safely on Stamporama"
You're right, but I'm venting my anger at such hostility.
Well, here it seems much better and with nice people.
I was there briefly in 2007, then fortunately i found Stamporama .
I've been a member of Stamp Boards since 2008. Never post anything, read much, or pay attention to much of anything going on down under But I collect Australia pre-decimal stamps. where better to find Australian stamps then Australia? I have over the years found many, many great deals on the sales thread from many people around the world. I have almost completed my pre-decimal collection. I am now working on Great Britain and there are a lot of folks on that site from GB and I am getting some good deals from them, also Papua New Guinea. I don"t pay attention to the BS I just look for what
l Need for my collection. Since 2008 I have never lost an order from anyone I purchased from on that site. Many hundreds of dollars. I go where the deals are.
I just look at their forum thread "Engraved stamp beauties". It's quite good.
The site I did have a problem with is SCF - where I read the thread "collecting by engraver" for a long time. Then I was snarled at by a moderator who said (in CAPS) that I should read the rules. The rule in question wasn't specific - it was about not asking questions till you've posted a certain number of times. I just didn't like being shouted at in that way - I'm not a naughty child, I'm a collector of quite mature years (80 last count). Just plain rude! But I still look at the thread occasionally.

I would like some members to comment on their experiences with the Stampboards website,
I became a member of this site in 2020 and asked the administrator to permanently block my access to the site recently.
Both the administrator Glen Stephens and most of his moderators are rude and ill-mannered people.
The moderators act as Glen's lackeys, modifying and deleting posts when it's convenient.
The practice on this site generally boils down to bullying and embarrassing newcomers.
That's why I think it's advisable to stay away from this site, because once you've signed up as a member you'll never be able to delete your data again.
