Hi again,
These 5 stamps and this block are not catalogued by Michel or by Stampworld.com, and the were not found by StampIdentifier. I would really appreciated your help in finding them specified somewhere, as essays or other sort of philatelic species.
Just for orientation: the perforated ones are MiNr. 517 to 521 and Block 8.

re: Ivory Coast 1977 - Zeppelin Series and Block - Unperforated

When issuing perforated stamps, several countries in French-speaking Africa(including Algeria), may be some other ww countries, simultaneously print a small quantity of imperforate stamps and/or a certain number of deluxe proofs (for Algeria, this is around 10%) of the overall quantity.

These unperforated stamps and deluxe proofs are normally offered to dignitaries, embassies, ministries and public institutions for publicity purposes.

The question today is, as you rightly said, are these stamps being taken into consideration by dealers and catalog publishers, and to what extent?

Hope that can help.

The Scott catalog has a note after the first stamps when the Ivory Coast became a Republic in 1959... As such, they are not given a catalog number or value. I hope this is helpful.
