Hi, I have several binders, family heirlooms, which unfortunately have the horizontal transparent strips for holding postage stamps damaged, bent, or torn. I would like to replace them. I tried with cellophane but it didn't work out. What kind of film can I use to replace them? I'm looking for quality and a more affordable price. Thank you in advance for your help!

re: Binders - Replacement of worn transparent strips

I think that Arri is wanting strips for use in Stock books, not sure that I know that anywhere does sell them.
Possibly glassine strips could be cut from large envelopes or sheets and glued into place. Using an archive quality adhesive not Sellotape (possibly "magic tape" by 3m/scotch would work?).
Something like this.https://clearbags.ca/stationery/envelop ...
