On the left : K 14:13 ( Michel 504A )
On the right : K 14 (Michel 504B )
And there are 2 germania stamps that has been forged by England.
The 10 pfg and the 15 pfg
The differences :
Morning HockeyNut,
I am aware that there are 2 - 12 pfg SIEGFRIED stamps as I have a used copy of each. However I was not aware of the English forgeries for the Germania stamps until this posting. Now I will have to go back through all my 10 and 15 pfg Germania stamps to see if I have the correct ones posted in my album.
Thanks for the information. I need all I can get.
Mel
Previous posting on an unknown map stamp that I, with my vast knowledge of stamps, failed to look at the backs to see that the stamps were from Latvia. Hey! I am old and the coffee had not kicked in yet. Well I feel even dumber after finding the following Monty Wedd illustration. Upper left corner. Although may be hard to read I have also added the whole story of Siegfried and the Dragon by Monty Wedd.
All illustrations are copyright of the Wedd family and are shown here with permission.
