I use Steiner pages for my worldwide collection. The cost is $50 to download all you want or order a CD. They are US letter size format so you do not need a special printer and you get to choose paper quality, binders, etc. You are not stuck with another system (special binders, etc).
You print as you need them. If a page gets damaged you can print a new one. Steiner follows Scott organization (e.g., semi-postals separate) but does not include catalog numbers. The pages often have varieties (minor suffix) that Scott does not provide a space for in their album. But you can edit the PDF pages to add them. Being letter size, you can create addition matching pages to add varieties, etc. I have redone pages to split of block.
Some think the pages are dull (font, border) but if you really want a different font you can edit the pages to fix that too.
Example. I added catalog and page numbers.
I will look into this. Thank you so much.
I use a number of album systems. in my opinion, the best is my Lighthouse Netherlands Indies album. I'm a big fan of the layout and quality of Lighthouse albums.

Welcome to SOR, Venatrix. You will love buying and selling here and the discussion board. As for albums, I don’t know of a perfect one. It’s time to upgrade my Canada album as it has become very respectable to 1999 but can’t find one I like. I do love my Scott National U.S. Comprehensive worldwide albums would be huge and expensive so I just make do with a Harris. I keep a lot of worldwide I like, like European colonials, in Lindner books.
I am with David on Lighthouse. I bought a pair of used US hingeless albums in springback binders with pages through the mid 60's from a dealer in 1989 and they re just as fresh and sound as the day I bought them 35 years ago. That said they are quite expensive new and are best used for a special collection.
Thank you so much for the additional responses. I will look into these options as well and see what I like.
Hi there!
Long time collector, but a newbie to getting it all in order.
I have been looking at different albums and supplements and I am having a hard time making a decision as to which ones to get. Scott, Minkus, Schaubek, HE Harris, etc. I have OCD and want something comprehensive that covers most or all stamps from all countries. Is there one that covers US and worldwide the best? Or is one better for this country or that country? I need help because I have read until my eyes glazed over. Currently, I have the Mystic Stamp Heritage Albums and though I love the tidbits of historical knowledge, I want something that is country, year, stamps. Rinse, repeat. And if you have preferred albums/supplements, pros and cons would be wonderful.
Thank you so much for all you help!
