I was surprised at what had been invented in Wisconsin. This was probably due to my lack of US geographical knowledge. I was thinking it was just another mid-west agricultural state, but after looking at the map I see it is part of that belt of industry around the Great Lakes. Well done Wisconsin.
Danny,
On the show cover I've replaced "Airborne Forest Fire Patrol" with "Little Free Libraries," the worldwide system of yard boxes full of books to swap. In 2009 a guy in Hudson, Wis. came up with the idea. The forest patrol innovation is true, but I decided to put in something a little newer.
Any unsold show covers will be available to purchase after the convention: $3 or two for $5. I'll post details here if there are some leftovers.
Joe
Draft of the program cover:
Hmm. Fond du Lac isn't that far away. I will have to give visiting serious consideration.
We'd love to have you visit, Smauggie! If you do, ask for Joe and maybe we'll have lunch. Go to https://www.wfscstamps.org/WISCOPEX/ for details on the show.
