I actually do just that in my collection. Durland is the key.
Here is one page:
(I had to verify perf on the 2¢ because that plate number used on 332 and 519. I assumed they were NOT bluish paper).
Hi Everyone;
I remember somewhere someone mentioned that a certain stamp must be Scott XXXX, because the plate number was attached to the stamp, (plate number single). If this is possible, is there a list of all plate numbers used on Wash/Frank, to make a positive ID? Also would it be possible to use the same plate to print sheets, that after printing, received different perfs, and therefore would create two different Scott numbers with the same plate number?
