Just got the book a couple days ago and started it tonight. I think the book will be as good as the movie!!
Of course, since I watched the movie, I know the ending. But I can still enjoy the book!!!
You'll probably enjoy the book much more than you did the movie, keep in mind that the movie is nothing more than an abridge version of the book and often times highly sensationalized to make it more appealing.
Stamp Collector,
You hit the nail on the head about books being much better than movies and I can only remember one book being better than the movie, but alas, at my age I can not remember the name of it, since I am a voracious reader and have been for most of my life. Today's movies seem to have to "sex" things up way too much, but I guess that's what sells them. I think I have read everything Sanders has written, but that movie version certainly killed the book, especially Mark Harmon's part in Certain Prey. If they would have put someone like Eastwood or Willis types in there it would have at least been interesting. Lucas Davenport was certainly more entertaining and intelligent than Harmon even intimated at, IMHO, which does not count for much in this world.
On to other adventures,
Mike
If you can find the time you will really enjoy this Agatha Christie classic, The Spider's Web!!

It starts near the end if all you want is the philatelic bit. I suggest you watch the whole movie!
EDIT: Just ordered the book!!
