My thoughts, either a sheet of stamp was laid crooked atop another sheet of wet stamps, or that stamp was stuck to 2 others.
Any other ideas?

I had a great time by just matching figures!
I have not identified the printing method for this stamp and I could be wrong.
A print was made without paper and the ink was deposited on the bed.
On the next print the paper picks up the ink from the bed on the back.
It appears to be flat press printed to me.
I also found this chinese stamp with a partial image offset on the back of the stamp...is this fairly common. capetown
