Can you post an example of the stamp about which you are asking?

I'd guess it's part of a slogan postmark.
The image shows the large letters AEV at the left, with "...B?ERGE ..." below and a faint CDS at the right.
The CDS appears to have the year 1952 in the centre which matches the stamp's year of issue.

No idea but got curious so I did a google search of italy stamps AFV and one link went to stampworld.com and noticed there are a lot of "Types" define for Italy. Lost interest.
