Guessing at another person's intentions is always dicey but in this case I do not need to understand 1898's intentions, I can easily see the impact.
The impact on the other forum was that he frustrated so many people, including 3 who had either quit or threatened to quit, that the staff banned him.
And I see here that the impact here in SOR is the same.
Is he just trolling people? Who knows, only he knows what his intentions are.
Is he making people angry? Yes.
Does he know that he is getting people frustrated on multiple communities? Yes.
No one is asking him to invest more time because the time he is spending answering people who simply point out he should include a link is more than adding the link in the first place.

Sorry that I am not able to understand your instructions. But if you cannot post a "right and proper" link, just stop posting anything like this at all!!

Thank you Terry your link works great! I do not know how to create a link, and don't know where to find this out!
It's true I was banned from two other sites, the first site was totally my fault and I take fully responsibility for me being banned. By the way the first site let me back on, but I had to wait sometime.
The second site did ban me, but I was never informed why, seems like I should know at least why I was banned.
I'm not trying to make people mad or make them angry, but if I see an error I point it out. Some SOR members have pointed out my mistakes and I appreciate this and learn. There are other times where I forgot a member does not have a scanner or does not have a catalog, how am I to remember who has what? They get made because I suggest going to the library to see a catalog (which is free and would not cost them any money).
Sorry for my posting DTG 03 Nov 2023 04:37:13pm, I was in a hurry I'm installing a mini-split system in my barn/workshop. I never had a mini-split system before, wow took me 5 times longer then most other people, but I got it done. No more freezing work in the winter months.
Because I don't know how to link was anybody able to find the article I posted about?
Again I don't want to make anybody mad, and I hope if anyone is thinking of leaving SOR please don't!

I'm totally lost without a clue. I was writing going back and forth and lost my entire message.
These instructions are the same ones I tried to figure out months ago and still do not understand them.
The URL where do I find them for 1898Revenues?
Looking at your message (by the way you did not mention this was the instructions), I have to find this https/ /, where do I find this or do I just type it and will it always be https/ /? Then I need the URL is it for 1898Revenues or Stamporama, your example it's stamporama?
OK I know I'm stupid, but could explain and I know Terry showed me the link, but left part of it off, I think I need to know what the follows "/2010...", what does the ... mean and where do I find them?
If I've made anybody mad, sorry but I do not understand how not creating a link (which I don't understand) would stop anybody from using my instructions to the article which I thought SOR people might or might not be interested in, it works!

Posting a link is simple.
1-Copy the web address for the page you want to make a link.
Here is Stamp Smarter web address which I just copy from the top of my screen.

2-Go to the"Post a Response Message" page.
3-Past the address in your message. Highlight the web address, and then click on the link box at the bottom of the "Post a Response Message" page.

I'm lost really lost with this link business, it seems easy, but them I try reading the previous message and I end up really lost.
I've spent so much time on this which I don't understand. Was my way making so many people mad?
I'll try this link business again, but right now my head is full of stuff/instructions which is confusing me.
I not trying to make anybody mad!

I don't want this to ever happen again where my posting made somebody quit.
Also with my way of linking web pages has upset people also.
Instead of me being banned again I've decided to ban myself, I least I know this time why I was banned.
