But seriously... why not post the link?

Really not necessary!

It's a duck, no a goose, no a squash!
Maybe you feel it is not necessary... but it is probably the considerate and polite thing to do. Not making the readers have to jump through a multitude of hoops to get to the information.
The "right and proper" link would be: http://1898revenues.blogspot.com/search? ...
Again not necessary!
I have said a few times I don't know how to link and don't know where to find out.
I'm not a computer person and don't understand more of this.

How about if someone add "How to do a link" to the area under general. And do it from the beginner's point of view. In a recent post someone posted a set of instructions that, if I didn't already know how to do it, wouldn't have made a heck of a lot of sense to me!
This might suffice, I hope!
1) Use your search engine, say GOOGLE, and go to what you wish to pass on.
2) Left click on the URL at the top left of the screen - it will turn blue, it is highlighted!
3) Right click on it and choose (left click) COPY
4) Go to the place in the SOR message that you wish to put the link.
5) Right click again and left click on paste. The URL should be there but you should make it active. That is almost good enough since we can go from there as we can make it active ourselves but it's not that hard to make it active in the message.
6) Go to the end of the URL, left click and move backwards (drag) through the URL to make it blue, or highlighted. Release.
7) Go down and look at the area under your message and left click on LINK.
8) You should be ready to finish your message.
I'll try it and see if it works using the SOR URL that is now on the screen!

I tried to be very careful with right and left clicks. For us it is second nature, for others it might not be. Pretend you know nothing about this, try my instructions and see if they work!
I did an instructional video here

Interesting background along with history and right and proper scans and usages!
Search for "1898Revenues", don't type anything else!
In the search area, type in "unknown" and then click on "search"
That will bring you to the right and proper article!
