Does anyone know if the Official G overprint was ever applied to booklet panes or miniature panes -- as opposed to full sheets?

There is no indication of such in the Unitrade catalogue under the listing for O44, but the appended example which I recently acquired appears to have a clean straight edge on the top, with no indication of a hand-made cut, although the bottom perfed edge also appears to be "cut" rather than torn.

The original 5c QE Wilding (Scott #341) without any overprint was issued in a booklet pane of 5 (#341a) and in a miniature pane of 20 (#341b).

I am curious as to whether anyone else has come across any straight-edged Official G overprints.

J. T. Hurd.

Post script: It now occurs to me that some large (200 or 400) sheets of Canadian stamps were cut into four panes before being sold at post offices. Such may result in straight-edged copies. Can anyone confirm if that applied to the 5c Wildings? If so, that will likely be the source of my example.
