It's getting closer!!! With all the "crap" that's going on it's time to celebrate something positive!!!

Over the last couple of months an average of 260 books have been added monthly, ie approx 8.5 books per day.
Currently book 29909 is the latest.
91 divided by 8.5 = 10.7 days
In theory then the 30,000 book should appear on the 27th of December!!

Could it be that we will hit book 30 000 on the 10th Anniversary of Approval Books? (Dec 27)

With only 66 to go and an average of 10 new books per day, we should be able to arrive at 30 000 at the very birthday of the system. Wouldn't that be a way to celebrate?
Update: less than 1 day later, 13 books have been added, so we might get there even sooner.

On the first day of Christmas
Our fellow collectors gave to us
30,000 plus approval books
One mystery remains though: who made book 30,000? Because as we speak the most recent book is 30,006, but some 10 are missing / held back. To keep us in suspense I suppose?

J-S: I think folks were trying to get the magical 30,000
I was aiming for 30001, but my scanner died on me, and it took me a while to fix things up and find a substitute method.
Anyway, maybe the mystery of the "on reserve 30,000" will surface one day.

Wonder no longer.
I was working on a number of Approval Books for my "Winter Clearout" and the 10 "missing" Books are allocated to some of those.
These Books and a number of Auction Lots will be released some time in the next week. Once I have gathered everything together.
