I also other marks, can't call them lines near the top in both corners?

Not familiar with the variety and the Unitrade just says "line through C and E of cents". If they showed pictures of every variety the book would be twice as thick. I looked on line and saw a line very similar to yours, just a bit further up. If I had to make a guess I would say the line varies a bit and yours is OK. I'm sure one of the collectors out there in the group will confirm this. The line if definitely there!!!
A quick Google search of "Newfoundland 59i" gave several different dealers' listings with enlargeable scan of their copy. A couple of them were much higher on the CE, another was lower, and finally one was very similar to the pictured stamp. In my perception, all but the last example in the list had a much more distinct line (obviously the black colour of the stamp's printing), the the final one was very much like the pictured copy, which to me gives more the impression of a shadow or minor paper irregularity than an inked black line. None of the examples are expertized, but a couple are from well recognized dealers of Canadian stamps. Bottom line: I cannot say anything definitive, but if you also look at these I think you may see a qualitative difference in the line of the pictured copy from some definite examples of the error, but perhaps you also recognize the dealer with the copy looking very much like this copy and know that person is a trusted authority on Canadian stamps (I have not heard of that dealer).
Thanks Cat. I tend to agree with you, in that my stamp may not be the variant mentioned in Unitrade. I wish they had posted an example, as they often do.
I was just listing this. I thought it was a 59i, which has a line through "CE" of "CENTS. However, when I was doing some surfing to get an idea of a fair asking price, I noticed the 59i s I found had a line through CE totally different than mine. I'm thinking mine is not the actual variant, and maybe nothing more than a random printing issue.
Thoughts?
