Thank goodness we do not have "feedback" on here.
Why?
We are that small and we "know" everyone.
We actually do have feedback here. I always give a short thank you note to all sellers when the item(s) arrive!!

Aye but how many sellers read them?
I know that they can easily be missed.
When an email is sent to a seller notifying that a shipment has been received it states shipment received by "whoever" in the heading so you don't need to open the email. The invoicing system also states the item has been received so even if an email is sent but not received by the seller you can still tell "whoever" has recieved their item.
So really there is no "feedback" system on here. There is nothing recorded on the system as "feedback". You cannot click on another Buyer or Seller to find out whether they are good, bad or indifferent.
Stamporama is so small that we know who the good guys are and who are, as we say in Old Caledonia, "The Hooks, Crooks and Comic Singers".
Ian, great points, as always!!!
Edit: I usually use these short comments as an area to point out if a mistake has been made, usually very minor. Say a number 24 on book X page 13 was sent instead of number 25. And since mistakes are always corrected and the comment answered I always assume almost everyone reads these comments. As a seller wouldn't you want to know what the buyer thinks about the items. This is a very small forum so it really wouldn't take long, not like E-Bay where some sellers are selling hundreds of items per week.
As an eBay seller, I use the automatic feedback mechanism, that gives everyone nice feedback. With a few hundred sales a month it would be overwhelming to do individually.
As an eBay buyer, I give nice feedback to stamp sellers.
I know some people don't bother but I always give feedback and I always read the feedback I am given. I know some people don't think feedback is important but I think it shows dedication and politeness, which a lot of people ignore now-a-days. I really appreciate feedback that seems to be personalized and not just the same every time. I know it's probably possible to have feedback picked randomly from a certain group but I still don't like seeing the same one every time from the same seller. The one I especially don't like is the one about "good communication" when I rarely try to communicate with the seller unless there is a problem. And then it's darn hard to make good contact!!! I'm not a huge buyer, I'm close to 500 and will probably never get to the next level!
