There are usually a few new older items either added or deleted but not very many. In the 2023 edition they dropped a few varieties that were only colour shifts and a few others they decided were privately produced and added a dozen or so minor varieties they just found out about. So as long as you are not into the new stamps it seems that the older issues should be fine. I updated mine to 2023 from 2015 to get more up to date prices but they hadn't changed that much anyway. Older, in my opinion, should be fine.

I will answer this and hope I don't get in trouble for it. I got a bit ticked because of the number of times I was being referred to in 1898's posts and told him to "cut it out"! Since then he seems to be calling me "@ poster". Just as annoying, but less obvious! I am trying very hard to stay out of trouble but this post might not be the smartest thing to do!

Is there anything new or informative in the last unitrade Canadian Stamp Cat. ever to be published that makes it better than older cheaper editions?
