Searching Ebay is not buying an album, what do you have to lose, give it a try, it will not cost you any thing. You might get lucky and find the information you are looking for, give it a right and proper try!

OK, I tried. I even searched Google! The only way to get anywhere would be to re-buy a supplement but I have no idea which one and the only possibilities I could find were way to expensive when you throw in the shipping. I guess I'm out of luck unless someone has the same album I have .
Sorry, I did not know if it would work or not, guess it did not work out for you. Sorry

@Harvey, could this be correlated back to the Scott catalogue, presume it is for the lower values that you have duplicate numbers.
Sorry but I have a Jarrett and an old SG, neither of which are numbered, not that Gibbons would use Scott numbers anyway.
Just a thought, but could you give us the Scott numbers that are duplicated (and values), maybe the collective brain can come up with an answer.
I've been going through my Unitrade very carefully and I think I have it figured out. Where the stamps have the same numbers the difference seems to be Type 1 and type 2 which are very slightly different designs. Where there are a's and b's as well the difference appears to perf 12.5 by 12 as compared to 13.3. I checked some and this appeared to be the difference. So if I could see under the black mounting that's probably what I would see, at least that's what it seems to be. Then you have the differences between 599, 599a and 600 which is perfs and 599a (missing shoreline), 600i (horiz ribbed), 600ii (Short $) and 600iii (short $ and horiz ribbed). This series could make a collection all on it's own especially if you throw in tagging varieties as well! Does anyone pay attention to all of this fluff?
@Harvey, if you really want to get into this series, and others, Robin Harris of Adminware has a number of books available on the Adminware website.

If you still need help regarding the Scott numbers, there are less choices in Scott than Unitrade.
I have a couple of suggestions that may or may not work.
Is the paper thin enough that you can see the feint printing on the reverse of the page when held up to a light?
Can you scan the page in question? One of us may be able to identify which stamps you have mounted on the page.
If not, perhaps you could provide the year of issue and a description of the stamps, i.e. 6c Pearson, straight edge stamp from booklet, perfs all round, tagged or untagged, paper type NF, DF, LF, MF, DF/LF ribbed, re-entry,HF or LF from booklet of 6.
Without physically seeing the stamps in front of me, I couldn’t begin to guess as to what is printed in your album.
Also keep in mind that Scott catalogue editors are known for changing, adding and deleting numbers for the definitive sets,
I wish I could be more helpful.
I have had luck removing stamp mounts from pages using a one sided razor blade or a very sharp thin knife.
@Harvey; Ihave this small book (typewritten pages) that I'll gladly send to you if you want it. There's some useful information inside the book about the caricature and landscape series. It was published in 1979
I think I'm OK with the numbers now and I really don't want to get any further into that crazy series. My wife and I got into the caricature series about 20 years ago and it almost drove us crazy, that and the 1967 series. I think we had pages of this stuff - I actually put them at the end of my album. Whoever gets the album when I'm dead and gone will probably have a fit with that stuff, especially the tagging errors and varieties!! And the 1967 series is far worse. I think Cathotel might be into those varieties! Who knows though, at some point the interest might show up again! If you can spare that book Liz, wait until I have another order from you and send it along. I'll get a copy made and send it back. Thanks for your help!!!
I was looking through my Canada Harris album and noticed in the 1972 - 1979 caricature series that there are a couple cases where adjacent stamps have the same number and of course with the black crystal mounting I have the album's description of the stamp covered. I looked in my Unitrade and there are so many versions of some of these stamps that I'd really like to know what is written under the mounting. Does anyone have the Harris Canada album with those two pages readable? I don't want to ruin the pages by trying to remove mounting that's been there for that long a time! If you do could you either post a readable scan here or send me a scan of these two pages? I would just like to know what these couple stamps are supposed to be! Thanks!!
EDIT: The book would be the 1974 edition with supplements to 1988, my cut off.
