If anyone is not familiar with this massive collection you really do have to check it out and save the link!!
EDIT: SEE NEXT POST BEFORE YOU CLICK ON THIS SITE!!
Not sure you want to go there, I get the following:-
Malwarebytes Browser Guard Logo
Website blocked due to trojan

I got none of that, but maybe my virus protection isn't as good as yours. Might be a very good idea to not go there!!!!
I just went to the site and my Norton did not flag it as a problem.
I have used it many times without any problems.

...as have I.
Maybe my antivirus just does not like HTTP sites, as opposed to HTTPS.
I am running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.70.0.1100 as well as BitDefender Total Security and I did not get a warning. The site is http vs https, perhaps you have a setting that causes unsecured sites to be flagged.
I will keep using it. Occasionally I want to see what a stamp actually looks like and this site has a pretty good collection for most countries. It's great to have around. It's kind of funny for some countries, he's missing the same Ireland stamps I am - those darn sea horse overprints. The areas I really specialize in like US or Canada are not as comprehensive as mine but when you see how many countries are represented it really is amazing.
You can go to the site using the URL https://antonius-ra.com in order to avoid the warning from MalwareBytes.
Correction, once you click on any link, MalwareBytes continues to report issues with Bill Seymour's hosting for Mitch's site so unfortunately MalwareBytes' BrowserGuard is definitely unhappy with the use of certificates on the site and the inconsistent access to domains using http and/or https. The site itself is actually clean based on the testing that I have been able to do.
Thanks JB, but I'll just steer clear of the site.
Antonius Ra (Mitch) used to be very active in StampoRama. I have only recently started visiting here after a several-year absence, and notice that he is not a member anymore (as far as I can tell). Does anyone know he is doing?
I use it a lot - only MalwareBytes has a problem with the site.
I, also, continue to use the site for Antonius Ra’s collection which has been an inspiration for almost a decade. The only issue with the site is the way it applies its SSL certificate in order to allow https: web site references.
I actually got a chance to see Bill Seymour in passing at the Pipex show a few years ago. Bill has provided hosting for the site for quite a while.
I have found quite a number of postings on Stamporama either by Antonius Ra or relating to his postings and life which have been fascinating.
Didn't they make the SSL certificate out of reach of a lot of people.. I still use Jason Drake's Stamp Image Bursting Program on both Macs and Windows computers with no problems and have to sign a statement on both each time I use it.
This is what I get from Malware browser guard.
Website Blocked: mitch.seymourfamily.com
v2.6.13 | Trojan: 2.0.202311062316
Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocked this page because it may contain malicious activity.
This is being generated by the browser guard application’s check of the ssl certificate for antonius-ra.com which is getting the certificate from mitch.seymourfamily.com which doesn’t have an alias for antonius-ra.com as best I can tell. The antonius-ra.com site itself is clean based on every test I have been able to use.
I'm sure the site still exists because I was looking at it not that long ago. I can't seem to find the link I used. Could someone please post the link for me, I wanted to check out what he has for the Ecuador overprints!!
