re: Canadian Ferries

I'm not really that up on newer Canada stamps since my cut off is 1988. I do collect Canada's year books but am missing several. Did Canada ever do a series on past and/or present Newfoundland ferries? I know that the back of my Unitrade list stamps by topic but there is a huge list called ships. I'm too lazy to check all of them right now!!
Edit: I know about the few older stamps including at least one Newfoundland stamp. I'm just wondering about any after 1988.

No. There has never been any Newfoundland ferry stamps issued in Canada after 1988. To my knowledge, Canada Post has never done a series on past and/or present Newfoundland ferries.

re: Canadian Ferries

The main ones I'm familiar with are the three Newfoundland stamps showing The SS Caribou, the ferry that was torpedoed in WWII. I don't think Canada ever did any commemoratives of that event since Canada didn't join Newfoundland (That's the way most older Newfoundlanders look at it!!) until 1949 and the Caribou went down in 1942!
This is an interesting blurb about the sinking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Caribou

re: Canadian Ferries

Should anyone have taken the time to open the link provided about the Carrabou's sinking, a very interesting swatch of Canada's WW II naval history, they might wonder about the 'standard ' procedure of leaving survivors to fend for themselves mentioned.
In the beginning of WW I (1914 ) three slightly obsolete British ''armoured cruisers'' were patrolling in the North Sea off Dogger Bank, steaming in a line abreast.
One was torpedoed, the second stopped to assist, and was torpedoed. The third followed suit with the same disasterous result.
A new policy was created, and the Aboukir, Cressy and Hogue took their place in naval history.
