Thanks for a very well organized book on Russia and connected areas. I found a few very hard to find stamps. Everyone who collects this area should check out this book. It's not every day that a seller spells out watermarks and type of paper!! This must have taken a huge amount of time. Thanks again!!

re: Thanks to Torbjorn

I sort of shot myself in the foot though! I went back to take another look at the book and found one I missed, a hard stamp to find and would have finished a page! Trouble is that someone found it before I did. I wonder if that would have happened if I'd kept quiet about the book. I did find a couple vertically ribbed stamps that, even though they are not really expensive, they are very hard to find since most people don't even bother to sort them out before they sell them. It will be an extremely hard series to finish but at least now I have made a start, great book with well sorted hard to find material. From the work I do on Russia's early stamps I know how much time went into that book. I still have about 150 Ukrainian trident overprints to sort by region and every time someone offers them I buy more. I figure there's about a weeks work there. My eyesight and patience are not what they used to be. If anyone would like to do them for me let me know!Rolling On The Floor Laughing
