Looks to me more like 86a, black on gray blue.

This link has the below image. Very hard to tell if yours is the same.

On balance I'd say not.
A stamp sold on the website of french expert Jean-Francois Brun.
Of course my copy does not look anything like the stamp shown on Roy's link. My problem is that if I look at an 86a on Colnect, image #1 below compared to my second image #2 below, the edges on the first image are white, while the edges on the second image are the bluish gray color. Now having said all that, I have 2 of the stamps in question, so it stands to reason that there is no way that I have 2 of the #87 so will chaulk it up to 86 or 86a as Roy indicates and continue the treasure hunt.

Image #2 (My second copy)
Forgot to add, I can breath again.
Am I holding my breath for no reason. The stamp meets all the criteria for perf and Type II and the perfs touch the frame at the top. The color appears to be prussian blue. (Scott # 87) or is that my imagination. My question is does the color of the stamp also extend to the back? Only the front has the blue color, but the back is white. Any help appreciated.
